Residents, groups and businesses in the Scottish Borders recognise the need for renewable energy but have seen the region become a hot spot for wind farm development. They want to be better informed and have a stronger voice on the numerous wind farm schemes in the pipeline.

 

Borders Wind Farm Watch has been created to provide easy-to-access information and insights and to highlight key issues such as landscape and visual impact, turbine size, energy needs, noise pollution and community benefit.
