New wind farm proposed near Tweeddale

Oliver Forest Wind Farm would be located approximately 12.5km south of Broughton and 19km north of Moffat. The new project would consist of seven turbines up to 200m to blade tip height.

A Section 36 application has been submitted to the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit (ECU) for consideration.

Within the application there is also a potential location for a Battery Energy System (BESS) on site.
